Philips Econova 46PFL6806 ECO Smart LED TV was awarded European Green TV 2011-2012. The EISA judging panel noted: “In its quest for energy efficiency, the Philips Econova ECO Smart LED TV reaches a power consumption of just 56 Watts in standard-mode, outperforming the direct competition. Chemical analyses of the PCB’s by SIMS Mirec Recycling Solutions, the world’s largest electrical and electronics recovery and recycling company, proved that the Philips Econova ECO Smart LED TV is less of a burden on the environment than other TVs.”

The Philips Econova ECO Smart LED TV has been awarded an A++ Energy Label due to its extremely low power consumption. This is obtained through the use of a high efficiency side-lit LED display, increased glass transitivity, and state of the art dynamic dimming video algorithms which optimize the intensity of the backlight. So when power is not needed it is not used. This enhances both the picture performance as well as optimizing the power consumption.

*With Philips Econova ECO Smart LED TV, off is really off. The unique Zero power switch means that when you switch your TV off, power consumption is reduced to zero watt.

*Philips Econova ECO Smart LED TV is made from previously discarded and easy to recycle materials.
